This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, where it is stored, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet our obligations as a data controller under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to respond to you.

  • Enquiry details. When you contact us about a product or service, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, the reason for your enquiry, and any message you choose to write. We also record which page you sent it from.
  • Technical logs. Our servers record standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp, which we use to operate and secure the site.

We do not sell products directly through this website, so we do not collect payment card details. We do not ask for sensitive personal data as defined by the PDPL, and we would ask you not to send any.

Why we process it, and on what basis

We rely on the following lawful bases under Article 4 of the PDPL:

  • Your consent, given when you choose to submit an enquiry, so that we can reply to it, prepare a quotation, and answer technical questions.
  • Steps toward a contract, where your enquiry leads to a quotation or an order.
  • Our legitimate interest in keeping this site available and secure, which is the basis for our technical logs.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we will not send you marketing email without asking you separately first.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only where necessary:

  • Manufacturers we represent, where answering your enquiry requires a factory quotation, technical clarification, or warranty support. We share only what is needed for that purpose.
  • Our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, which operates the servers this website runs on.
  • Our email provider, Resend, which delivers the notification message containing your enquiry to our sales team.
  • Authorities, where we are required to disclose information by applicable law.

This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare. When a page loads, those providers receive your IP address as part of that request.

Where your information is stored

Our servers are located in Finland, in the European Union, and our email provider processes messages in the United States. This means personal data you send us is transferred outside the United Arab Emirates.

The PDPL permits such transfers where the receiving jurisdiction provides an adequate level of protection, or where you have consented to the transfer. The European Union operates a comprehensive data protection regime, and our providers are engaged under contracts requiring them to protect your data and process it only on our instructions. By submitting an enquiry you consent to this transfer.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The site sets only the essential session cookie required for basic operation and form security.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our commercial and record-keeping obligations, and then delete them. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes. We do not retain personal data once the purpose for collecting it has been fulfilled.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you, and information about how it is processed;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations;
  • ask us to restrict or stop processing;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it transferred to another controller;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out; and
  • object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these, write to sales@avenirtechnologies.co. We will respond within one month. If a request is complex we may extend that period and will tell you if we do. There is no charge for making a request.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us, including encrypted connections to this website and restricted access to enquiry records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to prejudice your privacy, we will notify the UAE Data Office and, where required, you.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
