How it works
The Measurement Chain
Sensor
ICP or charge-output accelerometer, force sensor, or pressure transducer generates a raw signal.
Cable
Coaxial cable carries the raw, unprocessed signal from the sensor to the conditioning electronics.
Signal Conditioner
Provides constant-current excitation to the sensor, amplifies the output, filters noise, and converts to a clean analog or digital signal.
DAQ / PLC
Data acquisition system or PLC receives the clean conditioned signal for digitization, logging, or control.
Analysis Software
Digital data is processed, visualised, and archived. Final outputs: FFT spectra, time waveforms, trend plots, or alarm events.
Without proper signal conditioning, even the best sensor delivers unreliable data — noise, drift, and impedance mismatches corrupt every reading downstream.
